Stretton Lodge

We wrote to the town planners (see below) about Planning Application Number 2003/135 for the demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of the Stretton Lodge site, 80 Portmore Park Road, Weybridge. This is a very prominent corner site, to your left as you enter Weybridge from the direction of Chertsey.

There were many letters protesting about this proposed development, and the Council refused to grant planning consent.

The developers appealed and submitted revised plans, and eventually a substantially improved scheme was granted planning consent.
