Bulldogs Island

This is a view of Bulldogs Island (The Bull Dogs) from the Wey Navigation towpath,
on 15 October 2003. It is part of the Wey Navigation conservation area.

Planning Application Number 2003/1510 for proposed development on Bulldogs Island, Jessamy Road, Weybridge, includes a 23 metre wide strip along the length of the island adjoining the Wey Navigation (approximately 500 metres).

Many local residents feel strongly that this outstandingly beautiful stretch of land should not be threatened by development.

We wrote a letter to the planners on 18 Sept 2003 (see below).
