CABE response to Walton Bridge

The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) wrote to PP&DRA on 18 February 2004 in response to our letter about Walton Bridge.  They stated:

The essence of their letter is that CABE do not support Surrey County Council's plans for the bridge.  They consider that the site demands a higher standard of design.

CABE is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body. It is funded by both the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Its Board members are appointed by the Secretary of State.   We include the full text of their letter below.
